Telephonics Corp. soars with $23M Chinook deal

A Farmingdale-based manufacturer has landed a $23.3 million deal centered on the U.S. Army’s ionic Chinook helicopters. Communications ace Telephonics Corp. announced this week a three-year contract with the Defense Logistics Agency to provide weapons-systems communication equipment for CH-47 Chinook helicopters. New federal defense contract bolsters Applied DNA
