Hofstra, LIFT, arts group win state funding

Hofstra’s medical school, LIFT’s composite program and the Long Island Arts Alliance were among the winners of the latest round of Albany economic development funding announced Tuesday. Hofstra gets state OKs on nursing programs

The New York State Department of Education has approved license-qualifying nurse practitioner programs to be offered by the new Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Graduate Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.
