The Suffolk County Community College student borrowed liberally from the master of horror (and referenced many other well-worn scares from across popular entertainment) when he created the “The Macabre Sessions,” an original radio program that debuted this summer on Suffolk Internet Radio.
But if Christian found inspiration in others’ dark ideas, the end result – a 13-part audio story set on Long Island, told with a full voice cast, original music and moody sound effects, not to mention intrepid government investigators, hideous monsters and interdimensional stakes – is all about innovation.
