Generating more than $141 billion in annual nationwide revenues, Black-owned businesses form an economic bloc that cannot be ignored – and should be vigorously supported, according to BlaQue Resource Network founder Aleeia Abraham, who sees supporting Black businesses as essential to the health of local communities and larger economies.
Through a popular Facebook group, dynamic events and other progressive positivity, the Queens College graduate has already rallied 25,000 networkers to this noble socioeconomic cause – and she has big ideas about expanding her Queens-based efforts into Nassau and Suffolk.
