Foye stepping down as Port Authority chief

Port Authority Executive Director Patrick Foye has announced his resignation. Foye, a former corporate attorney who has served in a variety of political roles, including as head of New York’s economic development arm and as a deputy Nassau County executive, made the announcement in an email to staffers.
