Innovation, inspiration along The Entrepreneur’s Edge

Done deals: Welcome to The Entrepreneur's Edge, a carefully curated library of promoted content designed to propel startups and early-stage businesses to the next levels of success.

Innovate Long Island publishes Promoted Content in The Entrepreneur’s Edge, a carefully curated library of paid articles, advertorials, podcasts and other content that benefits our innovation-focused readership.

We are excited to share content that speaks directly to our audience of entrepreneurs, executives, inventors and investors, and the forward-thinking academic, industrial, nonprofit and government agencies supporting the regional innovation economy.

Content that meets our publishing criteria and runs in The Entrepreneur’s Edge will enjoy prominent placement on the Innovate Long Island front page and be archived as part of the searchable “EE” library.

First-run content is also featured in our by-subscription Monday/Wednesday/Friday newsletters (direct-mailed to subscribers, archived here).

Content Guidelines

  • Innovate Long Island presents Promoted Content that elevates our brand and the brands of our contributors.
  • Self-promotion is, of course, fair game. But Innovate Long Island will only publish Promoted Content relevant to our overall themes of innovation, business development and socioeconomic progress.
  • Fresh and progressive takes on small-business financing, professional networking, corporate IT, product development, startup support and related topics are gold. Detailed dives into industrial innovation – new approaches to manufacturing and distribution, for instance – are also good bets. Fun spins highlighting inventive gizmos are always a treat.
  • Promoted Content with a specific Long Island focus goes right to the top of the pile. But Innovate Long Island will consider all submissions that are well-sourced, well-written and rich with educational value for inventors, entrepreneurs, startups, established small businesses, scientific researchers and the investment community on Long Island and beyond.
  • Promoted Content is typically limited to 750 words in length, give or take.
  • Innovate Long Island observes the rules of the Associated Press Stylebook and Libel Manual. Please adhere to AP style guidelines and review all work for spelling and grammatical accuracy before submission.
  • Casual verbiage is accepted, but offensive, vulgar and derogatory statements are all disqualifiers. Please keep it clean.

  • Innovate Long Island charges a flat fee of $290 per published Promoted Content article.
