Farmingdale State College’s academic summer camps program kicks off May 23 with a series of weekend sessions on 3-D printing that runs through June 20. A variety of other classes will be offered through August, usually from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Included are:
Architectural Modeling, a week-long course on the basics of bridge and building design, July 13-17; Health Science Careers; July 14-16; Introduction to Computer Gaming Design and Animation, Aug. 10-14; and Forensics/Criminalistics, a week-long course on how to investigate crime through scientific tools and methods, dates still to be set.
Future liberal arts majors might be interested in Theatre Appreciation, a one-session course on the basics of stage performance, Saturdays, July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1 and 15; or Creative Writing, Aug. 3 and 7.
